🚚 Multi-SKU search

Unlike search results based on relevance, multi-SKU search allows your users to enter multiple SKUs at once, and any matching SKUs will appear in the search results. SKU search is divided into two modes as below.

Please notice that if you enable this feature, your consumers can choose between the regular search mode or the multi-SKU search mode in the search box on your website.

Exact Search

• For customers who place SKUs in the pid or attributes.
• The search input and SKU must match exactly.
• Only the pid field supports case-insensitive matching.

Fuzzy Search

• For customers who place SKUs in the name or description.
• The search input and SKU do not need to match exactly, resulting in relatively less precise outcomes.

Supports using the space bar as a separator, allowing for the search of up to 10 SKUs at a time.

It also supports SKUs that contain symbols: !@#$%^&*()_-+=|/. If the SKUs include these symbols, they can still be searched normally.

❓ When should I use this function?

You should use this feature when you have an important event or a new arrival announcement and you want to increase exposure. Since users can start a search from any page, they have the opportunity to see the content you've selected as soon as they click on the search box. This functionality ensures that your key messages or products gain visibility at a critical moment in the user interaction with your website.
