AMP Tag

The essential cornerstone of awoo AMP

✨ Preface

The term "AMP Tag" refers to the tags that appear on the homepage, category pages, and product pages. These tags are presented in a combination to represent the characteristics of a group of products.

📕 How Does AMP Tag Work?

awoo AMP AI extracts tags from text-based content on your datafeed. They are extracted as a single tag(base tag) format at the beginning, and then they will be transformed into a composed tag format for consumers to narrow down the product categories they are looking at. You can also modify tags through our AMP platform.

The composed tags are displayed on web pages with different purposes. Click through the links below to check detailed explanations of how composed tags interact with different web pages.

  • On Home page
The tags on the homepage summarize the site's popular categories.
  • On Product page
The composed tags present on product pages represent various aspects or characteristics of the product. Customers can select these tags to discover more products possessing similar features.
  • Tag page (awoo page)
When users select a tag, they are directed to the tag's dedicated page. This page displays all products associated with the chosen composed tag and additionally presents tags related to the main tag. AMP also offers a filtering feature on the tag page, allowing users to refine their preferences using tags. This page can serve as an additional category page or as a landing page for your SEO or advertising efforts.
  • Term Suggestion on sitesearch
We also suggest consumers keywords when they are typing text in the search box.

❓What if I don't like the tag on the product?

You can go to our Tag Management interface to Add, Edit, and Delete tags on a product or execute batch process to update tags at once.

❓ What if I don't want to delete tags on a product, but I don't want it to be displayed on pages?

Many merchants use our tags to track product trends on their websites. So sometimes they don't want to show these tags to their consumer. In this case, you can use our hide tag function to hide certain composed tags with specific terms.

❓ I have some different tags with the same meaning, what should I do?

Commonly, you have synonyms across products, and you probably want them to be annotated with the same tag. Our solution allows you to set up a robust library of synonyms to tag products with the same feature but different words. This also comes in handy when you have names of bands in English and other languages at the same time. Discover how the Alias Tag feature can support you.
